UF 2025 Itinerary
MIDLAND WEDNESDAY September 24

Meet at the Holiday Inn Express at 5 p.m. for a meet and greet.

THURSDAY NORNING SEPT. 25
7:30 a.m. Meet in front of hotel...Leave Midland hotel promptly at 8 A.M.
1 stop Monahans Sand Hills exit 86 West I-20
2 stop Rattlesnake Airbase rest stop before Airbase. Right after exit 70
3 stop Pyote exit 66 cross over I-20 take service rd west to fenced Stae school Airbase visit.
4 stop Lunch in Pecos. Restaurant TBA soon.
5 stop Chata Ortegas. Shaw Road exit 29 west of Pecos cross under I-20 and take south service rd. west.
6 stop Toyah….world’s dirtiest bathroom (according to the script) exit 22 you can see the school to the north.
7 stop 3 chili dogs and a malt Sonic Alpine 5 p.m. after check in at the motel.

FRIDAY MORNING SEPT. 26

BRING YOUR ID/PASSPORTS/DL
YOU WILL GO THROUGH A U.S. BORDER PATROL / K-9
CHECKPOINT UPON RETURN TO ALPINE / MARATHON

8 a.m. leave for DOM from the parking lot of Holiday Inn Express. 29°17'45.65"N 103°56'30.27"W
Lunch at Lajitas and then on to Marathon
Terlingua Ghost Town for Porch time and historic sightseeing

Friday night drinks at The Granada Alpine and show the movie.

SATURDAY MORNING 8 A.M.
Leave for Marfa Cemetery, Visit Parda and Giant Roadside Display

Lunch in Van Horn
