ABOUT US
This is a not-for-profit fan site dedicated to the 1985 film Fandango.
It was created by Alex Musson, who designed and ran the site up to 2005.
Since then, Chuck 'Dorman' Bush has set up a Discussion Forum and organised yearly
'Ultimate Fandango' road trips to the filming locations.
How The Site Came To Be
Alex explains: "Fandango had been a bit of a cult movie
for me and my friends at University. After graduating, I moved to London to
work as a web site designer and decided to create a site for the movie. I
didn't have much information to put up on the site, but soon after it went live
I started getting emails from all over the world and realised there was a large
cult following for the film."
"Then, in January of '98, I received an email from none
other than Chuck Bush, aka 'Dorman', who had found the site whilst browsing the
web. Chuck kindly offered to supply behind-the-scenes stories and photographs
which greatly expanded the site. Also, many more photos and stories started
coming in from other fans around the world."
"In June 2003, Marvin J McIntyre, aka 'Truman Sparks' also
came accross the site, giving us another interview with more great photographs.
The site continued to grow over the years with stories, photos and comments
from the fans."
"Most recently, in September 2005, Chuck suggested moving
the site to an official domain and adding a messageboard, competitions etc.
This sounded great to me as I'd been wanting to expand the site but barely had
the time to keep the site as it was updated. So I made the time to do a
redesign of the site and Chuck sorted out the new hosting with messageboard...
and here we are."
